This fantastic vintage clay pottery comes from from Guadalajara the capital city of Jalisco in Mexico. Its a whopping size 7" tall and just about 6" wide.

Hand painted are what looks like feathers around the top half of the pitcher along with waves below and smoked squiggles between. The lower half has embossed circles that weave around the bottom alternating paint with texture reminding me of some of the reconstructed freeways in Arizona and the design chosen for the walls.

Deep red clay pottery is enhanced with a beautiful glaze. The size is impressive and looks beautiful displayed alone or with your favorite flowers inside. Mine are marigolds and artichokes.
