I can't really be certain what this is, but I hope it is an urn and not a, ahem, very large chamber pot.

16 inches tall from the finial of the lid to the bottom. About 12 /12 inches tall without the lid. About 11 inches across at its widest, most bulbous part. The urn itself seems to be a slightly more off white hue than the lid. There is crazing throughout both pieces. The bottom seems to have some small marks from the manufacturing process and a few tiny chips along the inside of the mouth. The lid has a cracked spot and some discolorations (2nd photo). The lid seems to fit fairly well, but I can't be sure it is the exact fitting lid (although the handles match the rest of the piece). I prefer its appearance without the lid myself.

The bottom is marked J & E Mayer Warranted Stone China.
