Beautiful Mascot kerosene thick light aqua glass bottle with an amazing textured metal jacket, wooden handle and spout. This bottle is in great vintage shape with some age appropriate patina, mild rust, white, green and gray paint splatters and some evidence of repair(welding) on the handle and spout. This bottle is gorgeous and I wish I could tell you more about it but despite my research I have come up empty handed! The front of the bottle reads MASCOT and there are no other makers marks or label. It could be a Westlake Glass bottle because they named their bottles but I can not find this particular name. I welcome any information! The bottle measures 12"s high and has a diameter of 6 3/8"s. The bottles jacket is very cool and resembles a reptile with a scale relief around the entire jacket and a border of dashed short lines. The front of bottle has two decorative windows to see how full the kerosene is and the MASCOT intersects the windows creating a cross. I can not unscrew the big top(maybe it is not supposed to come off?) but the smaller one unscrews fine and it looks pretty clean inside just some dust. I believe this bottle is from the late 1800's to early 1900's.

This bottle is unique and rare and would make a beautiful addition to a collection or can also stand on its own!

Shipping is expensive on this because of weight and I must float with 2 boxes. I will adjust and credit if shipping is under.
