This book is part of the Home University Library of Modern Knowledge series. It was published by Williams and Norgate in London. As the date is not listed on the book, I think this is a first edition, which means it was printed in 1910. There was a later 1919 edition also, I'm working on the assumption that the later edition would have listed details of the reprint. However, I'm not entirely sure, feel free to correct me!

This book is showing quite a lot of wear and tear. The cover has become loose from the book and someone made an unsuccessful attempt to reattach it with tape. However, the pages of the book are in good condition, with no marks or tears, and very little discolouration.

The price reflects the condition of the book and the uncertainty about its exact age.

A wonderful book introducing many different aspects of science and its utility.

I ~ The Scientific Mood

II ~ The Aim of Science

III ~ Scientific Method

IV ~ Classification of the Sciences

V ~ Science and Philosophy

VI ~ Science and Art

VII ~ Science and Religion

VIII ~ The Utility of Science

This is a small book measuring 7" x 4.5" approx.
