I LOVE the look of this Victorian Buckle Ring!! The buckle part looks like a crescent moon set with genuine, natural turquoise gemstones and strap of the buckle is set with pearls.

Buckles were used a lot in Victorian Era jewelry as it was a symbol of BINDING LOYALTY (as well as bravery, strength and protection) and crescent moons were also used a lot in Victorian jewelry, usually as pins, that are sometimes known as "Honeymoon" Pins.

This would be a super cool wedding band!

Hallmarked in Birmingham, England in 1879, 9KT Gold

Ring Size 6.5

The color of the stones and gold look most like the picture with the ring on my finger (at least on my computer monitor)

CONDITION:
Very good antique condition, no repairs or damage. Some oxidation (gold turns darker) on the gold (it could be polished, I leave that up to the buyer) and the buckle has a small dent on one side. Turquoise is very porous and sometimes gets darker in spots on the stone...but no cracks or chips in the stones.

--- Please Note Measurements as the photos are close-ups and look larger than in real life ---

MEASUREMENTS;
Buckle section measures approx 9mm x 15mm. (1 inch = 25.4 mm)
Band Width is 5mm by buckle and tapers to 3mm

Weight: 1.7 grams
