This is an interesting piece as I can't seem to find a whole lot about it other than the very old history of the company, John Lockett & Co.

"In the Survey of the Potteries in 1786 we find Timothy and John Lockett described as white stone potters at Burslem... In 1802 they appear to have moved to Lane End, for the firm is described in the Directory of that year Messrs. J. & G. Lockett, and 1829 it was J. Lockett & Sons."

I can't figure out whether they are still in business or not, but I would estimate this jug to be from the 1950's-80's.

Stands 8" tall and 7" at the widest
