A simply stunning Victorian Atkin Brothers of Sheffield England pewter teapot with great adornment and imposing finial.

It measures inches 8 high and 9 1/4 inches from the handle to spout

The condition is good; it has marks and scratches, some rubbing to the pewter and a repair to the end of the spout, but overall it is structurally sound, lovely and clean and in fine fettle for the age.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece, or authentic period prop.

Thanks for looking and please cast a glance at my other vintage and historical items.

The firm traces its establishment to Thomas Law in the mid 18th century.

It was succeeded by Henry Atkin and John Oxley trading as Atkin, Oxley & Co.

In 1840 Henry Atkin continued the trade as Henry Atkin & Co at 32 Howard Street, Sheffield.

After his death, his brothers Harry Wright Atkin, Edward Thomas Atkin and Frank Shaw Atkin continued the business as Atkin Brothers.

The firm was converted in 1925 into a limited liability company under the style of Atkin Brothers (Silversmiths) Ltd.
