Made by Fenton Art Glass between 1954 and 1970, this lovely quarter-pound hobnail butter dish #3977 is unmarked (on Fenton milk glass, the logo appeared after 1970). Measures 7" long and 2-1/2" high, with crisp hobnails and perfect scallops. There is one dark inclusion on the tray (photo four).

There's something so delightful about white milk glass. Though the form is traditional, the look is crisp and fresh. Enjoy and use the classic covered butter dish every day.
