Estate find! Here is a lovely, Art Deco style 13" necklace made of bone beads! The focal bead is a 1.25" square, nine-section slab with concentric circles within the sections. There are four strands of carved three-ringed tubes interspersed with brass beads. Two sections are set off with rectangular spacers of the four-strand length and another section of beads. The side sections are completed with four strands of disk beads. It is strung on silk thread and finished with an antique silver link chain and a handcrafted hook closure. The beads have been "antiqued" with a stain and appear to have a clear coat on the focals. There are the striations of bone on the reverse of the focals, which are plain (see photo #4).

This is a beautiful necklace that would go well with the tribal influence so popular today! Would make a lovely gift.
