Antique Apothecary Glass Leech Jar

The large mold blown jar features an applied pedestal.

These 19th century sangsue (leech) jar was used at the hospital for the leeches.

It measures 13 1/4" high x 9 1/2" in diameter at its widest.
It is in very nice condition with no cracks, only a few tiny flakes on the bottome edge.

It would be lovely in a number of uses, like terrarium, fish bowl, soap display, or flower vase.
