I love this little figurine from 1940's occupied Japan! The porcelain figurine is of a Japanese man holding a box. The box has openings so that the scent from incense will flow out through the top of the box. The back has an opening to place an incense cone. It is in beautiful bright colors of oranges, yellows, blues and greens. The piece was made in Occupied Japan c. 1940s and it is stamped on the bottom.

In excellent condition! No nicks, chips, cracks or repairs to the piece. Measures about 4 1/2" tall by 3 1/2' across.
