This roving reminds me of a Chameleon. Some species of chameleons are able to change colors. Chameleons change colors to camouflage themselves or to give a social signal. The colors in this roving include blue, green, brown, and yellow.

Here is a listing for a 4 ounce handpainted Falkland wool top roving. All of my rovings are handpainted by me and I use these rovings to spin my yarn. I dye all of my fiber using Eco-Friendly dyes and I set the color with steam and Citric Acid. I carefully mix all of my colors to create the colorways you see.

Fiber: 100% Falkland Wool
Weight: 4 Ounces
Staple length: Approximately 5 inches

Falkland wool has an incredible soft hand and is extremely white. Falkland spins up beautifully and dyes very nicely. Falkland is not a breed of sheep but is named after the islands in comes from. This wool comes from the Falkland islands off of the coast of Argentina. Since there are no know sheep diseases on the island the sheep are never chemically dipped and the wool meets organic standards. It is a combination of breeds such as Polwarth, Corriedale, Merino, Romney and a few other breeds.

All of the rovings from Little Libellule are created in a SMOKE-FREE, but pet friendly home.
