This nice piece of Libyan Gold Tektite was found in the Sahara Desert in Libya and Egypt. This stone is a product of a meteor collision with the desert sand. In ancient Egypt, the funerary necklace of King Tut had as its centerpiece a large carved scarab made from a piece of Libyan Gold Tektite. This stone has good color and clarity and is in great shape with just a few obvious bumps or bruises. This Tektite measures about 1 1/4 of an inch long x 1/2 of an inch at its widest point by 3/8 of an inch thick. Metrically speaking 31mm x 12mm x 9mm. This is a great stone for wire wrapping, the metaphysician or the collector. It would also make a nice pocket stone.

Libyan Gold Tektite resonates with all Chakras, especially the Solar Plexus and Sacral Chakras. It promotes confidence, mental acuity, access to Akashic records, manifestation and realization of personal power.
