This reclaimed Redwood Totem sculpture is inspired by the great Totem poles of Ketchikan Alaska and their historical colors. I thoughtfully designed, sawed the form from raw redwood and sanded, painted many layers of color and then sealed the entire piece. My paints are mixed by hand using powder pigments for pure saturated color. This sculptural piece is a personal monument to and meditation of the symbolic colors, spirituality and craftsmanship of this great Totem culture.
