Vintage Fred Harvey Tohono O'odham Papago Indian Basket 4"x4", Native American Indian Art, made out of bear grass with black devil's claw decoration. The Papago (bean eater) Indians officially changed their name to Tohono O'odham (Desert People) in the 1980's so this basket, sold by Fred Harvey in one ot their tourist gift shops, precedes that change.

The original paper hang tag is included and tells the history of Papago Indian basket making. There is a small sticker inside the tag that says "9-4-43 Fred Harvey" . This basket is in excellent condition with no damage inside or out. The overall dimensions are 4" diameter x 4"h.
