The case is made of red sheet metal, and the dial is white with black numbering and covered with transparent polycarbonate. It is in very good condition with few signs of age or use. The only notable marks on the top of the case are a small dent, which has been repaired. It has a German Kienzle quartz movement, which we believe is not original, and which is very precise and quiet. It requires one AA battery for operation (not supplied).
