To create these music note earrings, I used these fun music-printed aluminum ovals found on a trip to Wisconsin. I love the sepia tones of the ovals; they look like old, vintage sheet music. (The backs of the ovals are plain silver.) I drilled holes in the ovals and added two wire-wrapped glass dangles, one a medium brown and the other a champagne color. The silver-plated half-circle reminds me a little bit of a base clef with its rounded shape.

These lightweight earrings come gift-boxed with music-themed ribbon as shown. A wonderful gift for a music lover or musician! Only one pair available.

Ear wires: Sterling silver ear wires
Sterling silver ear wires are a little more expensive than silver-plated or surgical steel, but they usually work best for people who have sensitive skin or allergies. These are my favorite ear wires. They're a little thicker than your average ear wires and won't easily get bent out of shape.

Length: 2 1/4" (5.7 cm)
Earring length is always measured from the top of the ear wire (the part that will be in your ear) to the end of the earring.

I love making special, one-of-a-kind items!

Stamped key chains, bookmarks, jewelry, and luggage tags may feature your special message as long as it fits the allotted space. Sometimes I need more information from you to complete personalized items, so make sure you're set up to receive emails from Etsy. If I'm unable to reach you, I may need to cancel your order.

Custom items do require more time. During busy holiday seasons, please allow at least a week to make your special item.

Items that are personalized with names, dates, places, or other very specific, custom information are *not* returnable.
Please look in the item description for product measurements. In most cases, there will also be photos to help show you the scale of the item. If you have any questions about size, please contact me prior to ordering.
Jewelry, key chains, bookmarks, luggage tags, and ornaments all come packaged in a gift box with ribbon unless otherwise specified. If you're shipping a gift directly, let me know if you'd like me to include a personal note from you on a handmade gift card in the package at no additional charge. You can let me know in the comment box when you check out.
Aluminum:
The dark lettering on aluminum may eventually fade over time. If you wish, you may re-darken the letters yourself using a permanent marker like a Sharpie pen. Use a soft polishing cloth to remove any excess blackening. Aluminum rings and bracelets may be gently bent to create a more perfect fit.

Copper:
Over time all copper will naturally begin to darken. If you don't love this darker color, you can use a lemon sprinkled with salt to bring back the brighter tone.

Pewter Keychains:
The strongest part of the keychain is the steel key ring. Always hold the keychain by the ring (not the disc) and do not overload it with too many heavy keys.

Sterling Silver:
Use silver polish and a soft cloth to keep it bright.

I do *not* normally include printed receipts in packages, except in international packages where it is required by customs. You may print out your own receipt on the Etsy website at any time by visiting your Purchases page under Your Account. If you'd prefer that I include a printed receipt in your package, just ask!
It generally takes 2-8 weeks or longer for orders to arrive from the United States, depending upon how long the package spends in customs and the efficiency of your local postal service. You are responsible for any extra customs fees, duties, or taxes your own country may add. Look at your own government's website if you need more information about fees.
