I’m destashing some of the Christmas seals from my late father’s collection. This strip of 20 Boys Town Christmas seals from 1951 has never been used and is ready for your crafting or collecting. These would look great on gift tags, in scrapbooks, or for giving your holiday cards a vintage feel! Boys Town was founded in 1917 as an orphanage for boys by Father Flanagan near Omaha, Nebraska. The seals picture a boy carrying a sleeping younger boy on his back, in the snow. The caption reads “He ain’t heavy, Father. He’s m’ brother” (the slogan you may recognize from the 1969 hit song by the Hollies). This strip includes the bottom of the sheet, with information on Boys Town and “1951 Annual Seal”.

The photos show the strip of Christmas seals that you will receive. The original gum is present and this strip is in mint condition! Each seal is 1 x 13/16 inch. I’ll wrap the strip in plastic wrap and mail it flat with thin cardboard in an envelope.
