I use only cotton flannel (prewashed to help prevent against shrinkage, 3 layers), Warm & Natural batting (2 layers), and fleece. For pads designed for heavier flows, I add a layer of PUL (polyurethane laminated fabric) to help make it waterproof. Each pad consists of 2 parts: the top pad and the underpad. Each top pad is quilted for comfort and I use a minimal amount of stitching to attach the top pad to the underpad, to help prevent against leakage. All pads have wings that wrap around your undergarment and snap together to help them stay put.

**Due to the variations in cutting, the fabric placement of the pad you receive may differ slightly from the one pictured above.

Here is my recommended breakdown of pads to help you choose which is best for you:

SMALL/MEDIUM: approx. 9" (22.8 cm), good for light to medium flow
SMALL/MEDIUM with PUL: approx. 9" (22.8 cm), good for light to heavy flow

LARGE/XXL: approx. 11 1/2" (29.2 cm), good for light to medium flow, or as an overnight pad for women who would normally use a small/medium size
LARGE/XXL with PUL: approx. 11 1/2" (29.2 cm), good for light to heavy flow, or as an overnight pad for women who would normally use a small/medium size

I do NOT recommend the use of these pads for bladder control issues. They're fine for light bladder leakage, but that is all.

A NOTE ON COLOUR: I am most assuredly NOT a photographer. I rely on photo editing programs to help me be as accurate as possible in representing the true "to the naked eye" colour(s). That said, sometimes, no matter what I do, I just can't get the colours to look on my screen, as they do to my eyes. When that happens, I will try my best to describe in the write-up, exactly what the true colours are.

HOW TO CARE FOR: I recommend soaking the used pads in cold water as soon as possible after use. (Possibly a lidded rubbermaid tub in your laundry area) Replace with fresh water each time you add a pad. On laundry day, wash in cold water with a little vinegar added (my grandmother's laundry panacea!) along with your regular detergent. Machine dry. Some fading and staining is inevitable, but these pads should last you for years!

A NOTE ON SHIPPING COSTS: According to my Canada Post calculations, it would actually be less expensive for the customer, if I were to ship multiple items separately. (It's quite tricky because CP gives itself a handy loophole, stating that costs may vary from CP location to CP location, basically giving employees some wiggle room on shipping charges.) Please rest assured that I will never overcharge you for shipping. If, once your order has been shipped, it turns out that you have overpaid by more than $1, I will reimburse you via Paypal.
