Wouldn't this make a wonderful gift for an English student or a literature major? If you are a Joyce fan, this book will help you to appreciate his writing in a new way. Burgess explains colloquial Dublin terms and phrases and translates Irish-isms to English.

Written by Anthony Burgess and published by Andre Deutsch in 1979 (the second impression of the book, which was first published in 1973).

This book is in pristine condition. The dust jacket has no creases, tears or marks. Underneath is a beautiful hardcover in brown with gilt writing on the spine. Inside, the pages are spotless.

This book seems to be quite rare - I can't find another like it anywhere. The ISBN is 0233962646.

Why not pick up a vintage copy of Dubliners while you're at it?

Thanks for looking!
