A cute vintage creamer pitcher with boy reading a book surrounded by ducks.

This cute little cream pitcher is made of white porcelain and has a design of a boy standing and reading a book surrounded by ducks on either side and two trees or grape vines on training poles. The boy is wearing an orange shirt, short pants and blue socks; the book cover is blue and aqua. The rim and handle of the pitcher are trimmed in gold. The bottom is marked Germany 297/01/2 over 2488A.

Measures 3 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches from spout to handle. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the gold around the rim and some light scratches on the design.
