When the cavemen walked the earth, the stars were shining brighter than we perceive them today. Without city lights, stars are more vibrant and luminous, reflecting a lot of light.

The lights of the moon and stars were the barbaric man's method of navigating. The caveman relied heavily upon solar power in its rawest, most primitive form. There was little the caveman could do at night, that is, until the discovery of fire.

This dream catcher catches this primitive way of life within it's web, with the loincloth of the caveman as a backdrop to the North star. Many of the foods they were able to catch, being fowl and animals, are represented with a single, wire-wrapped white feather inside of a star web with a hide of gray fur behind it and yellow beams of moonlight .......which draws the eye down into bead work and the beautiful, earthy colored, hair-like braids that are embellished with fuzzy feathers.

Measures 29 inches long, not including the hanger, by 8 1/2 inches wide.

All of my dream catchers are first wrapped in new plastic and enclosed into a new box prior to mailing.
