This lovely lady is elegant in a way we can only dream of and hope to someday emulate. She stands regally in her crimson dress and matching hat as she picks out a piece of jewelry, maybe a watch for her dapper husband? This framed vintage print is beautifully preserved. The old granny I acquired this piece from said "I think it's a Renoir. But it's not an original, I've been looking for one." She was so cute it was all I could do not to pinch her little cheek! Though I disagree, I think it's a Cherry Jeffe Huldah print. Hulday (1901 - 2001) made a long career of painting elegant Parisian inspired women of all ages dressed in fabulous victorian garb.

I have had several vintage prints in this style, but this is by in the best condition. Unsigned, she is framed beautifully in an ornate gold frame with cutouts. The print is lightly textured like brushstrokes.

This piece would look wonderful in a little girl's room, a powder room, or by your vanity! Come to think of it, I like it so much I might hang her by my vanity!

Frames measure 7.5" x 6.5'. Judging by the frame and other similar pieces I've had, I believe this print was produced by the Illinois Moulding Co.
