18th Century Blue Reversable Jumps and Petticoat Outfit

Jumps are a very lightly boned bodice that were worn in informal situation instead of stays.
These Jumps are from the mid 18th century. They are lighter weight than stays and can be more comfortable in warm weather, while still giving you the corect look!
They are made of two layers of fabric. One side is a very beautiful Williamsburg fabric. It is thick linen /cotton in a period correct large floral design.The other side is a colonial blue homespun.

They have metal bones in the front along the lacing. There are small black grommets that the cord laces through.
The shoulder straps are also adjustable.
The waist is tabbed, which is very comfortable and gives a femine look.

the size is 14, but check the measurements because there is some variations in sizes. Depending upon how tight you want this to be, your body measurements should be a little larger than those of the jump's measurements. There can be a small gap in the laces.

Waist: 33 inches
Front length: 13 inches
top of back to waist line: 14 inches

The petticoat is a striking colonial blue with slightly darker stripes. It is 100% cotton. It has a drawstring waist. The length is 42 inches and the width is 103 inches.
