The "Ford Times Cookbook", a traveler's guide to good eating at home and on the road. Copyright 1946-1968 by Ford Motor Company. Stated First Printing. No publishing date for this edition, but it's definitely the late 1960's edition. Recipes compiled and tested by Nancy Kennedy, Women's Editor of Ford Times Magazine.

Such a great illustrated cookbook! Includes recipes from hundreds of restaurants across the U.S. and Canada, plus each recipe has an accompanying illustration of the restaurant where the recipe originated. To my dismay, in this Edition (unlike earlier and later editions), the artists/illustrators were not credited, although those who appreciate midcentury illustration will recognize many of the artists by their style. Dozens of different illustrators contributed, including at least a couple of illustrations by my personal favorite illustrator Charley (Charles) Harper. Harper has gained a huge following in the past few years, and collectors are grabbing up cookbooks and childrens' books that he illustrated. Some of the recipes and excerpts in this book came from Ford Times magazine, to which Charley Harper was a long-time illustration and article contributor.

This cookbook is in good condition. The cover has some shelf wear, and the bottom edge pf the pages (when the book is closed) has a stain near the spine. The pages inside are free from stains. Book measures 8 1/2" x 5 5/8" and has 253 pages. Stamp on the front endpaper and inside the back cover reads:
