Short Story Long:
Bokara rugs are in almost every textile enthusiast's collection. The pattern is simple, yet interesting, and it is an easy pattern to spot if you're a novice rug collector. The Bokara design, which is also sometimes referred to as an elephant foot pattern, is very versatile and works with both contemporary and traditional furnishings.
This particular rug has a very tight weave and is in excellent shape. The kelims (flatweave) at either end of the rug are a little bit thicker than usual, adding extra interest to this piece. The size and tough construction of this rug make it perfect for a front foyer. This rug can take a beating and hide the dirt. Enjoy!
