Peacock blue, Mallard blue... Potayto, Potahto... by any name, this squishy-squashy soft yarn will not disappoint. It's a lovely medium toned blue with a soft-spot for turquoise. It's also quite thick, so you won't have to wait forever to get your project done. 11 wraps/inch, puts it a smidgen above worsted, but not enough to make the cut for the bulky team. I reaped a total of 1050 yards, and even though my daughter is drooling over it, you guys get first shot at it. It's another of those Qtip yarns, blended cotton and acrylic. Not all these yarns are this thick, but if you found enough of them in similar weights, a marvelous striped number could be in your future. I myself have quite the collection of "leftovers" just waiting for a multi-colored spectacular awesome scarf or blanket, depending on how much longer I can control myself. (Don't start knitting until the basket is overflowing! The more the merrier. I plan on being very merry by the end of the year.)
