These earrings are made of medium warm brown pieces of birch bark layered with a hammered nickel silver rectangles. The hammered pattern on these reminds me of ice crystals on glass. The 2 pieces are held together with a handmade copper headpin with naural copper, black and rosy tones. The ear wires are sterling silver. They have a lot of movement and the hammered metal really catches the light.

These earrings are made of natural Birch Bark that was collected either from dead trees in the forest or as driftwood from the shores of Northern Vermont lakes. Birch Bark is naturally water resistant and it is coated with a clear sealant. However, it is best to avoid prolonged exposure to water.

The earrings measure 2" in length from the top of the hook to the bottom of the bark and the bark is 1 1/2 " x 1/2" wide. They hang from sterling silver earwires. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.
