Primitive punched tin wall hanging. This unique and unusual (for punched tin) design is an old quilting pattern which I've modified for punching. An unusual panel framed with reclaimed rough oak pallet wood.

I use the same method of design and execution that the old independent cabinet makers used when building a pie safe or jelly cabinet. The design would have been something simple quick and easy or more elaborate and complicated depending on their skill and the design of the cabinet itself. The "tin" was usually some type of galvanized sheet though sometimes it was raw steel or copper. And the holes punched - with awl and hammer - one at a time.

This beautiful quilted tin wall hanging measures 19 3/4 X 18 inches.

We combine shipping where possible and refund overages of $2+. Please understand that the SHIPPING CALCULATOR Etsy displays in our shops DOES NOT FUNCTION. The same shipping displays for every zip code and is what I have calculated to the furthest point from me. It does not always reflect the final shipping cost. It can not be more than that and will usually be less.
