I handmade this pretty little jewellery dish using white earthenware clay. Whilst the clay was still wet, I rolled in vintage lace which has left a detailed imprint. Before biscuit firing I rubbed in special ceramic stains, slightly darker towards the middle and more turquoise around the edges. Once fired this was then covered in a sheen transparent glaze and re-fired. The underside is also glazed but with a brush on powder blue - very pretty and water resistant for use in the bathroom. (see photo 5)

The dish measures approx 5 inches x 5 inches (13cm)

All glaze used is lead free.

(The jewellery shown is not for sale - just to give an idea of scale). This little plate could also be used as a soap dish if you like.
