This great vintage movie projector is the Excel P-36 16mm silent movie projector from about 1935. Included with this working projector are two movie reels, Gene Autry Thrilling Western Home Moview, and Farmer Alfalfa (Terry Toons from Castle Films).

The projector works but has a few issues. The bulb is still working, and when you run it, it gives the flickering projection we associate with silent movies. The reel at the bottom, which takes up the film, does not move as quickly as the one on top so it will need either more oil, or a replacement of a wire belt, or something to be able to work correctly.

We did run the projector and a bit of both of the reels, and they seem to be fine but I haven't viewed them all the way through. They both come in their original cardboard boxes, which are in fairly good condition.

The projector seems to have a new cord on it. I bought it at an estate sale from a man who said "it works if you nurse it along." Seems he was right.

Like all my vintage electronics, this is sold as is, with no guarantees, but my usual return policy applies.

Size: 14 inches tall x 13 inches long x 5 1/2 inches wide (35.5 x 33 x 14 cm)
