These little birds have been very popular over the years. Until recently they were only available at the Seattle Art Museum, now I am offering them here in my Etsy shop. The birds are made from beverage cans and metal food containers. From the tip of the beak to the end of the tail they measure just under 6 inches and from wing to wing they are 3 inches. In a breeze they will spin in circles and can be hung up inside or *out. Each one is hand made by me, this is my own design. Not a toy and not intended for children

Sometimes right after I finish making a bird I will write the first name that pops into my mind on the under side of the wing. This bird is named Cortney.

This is not a toy! The vintage tin in this artwork may contain lead based paint and sharp edges. For information about lead in the home go to: http://www.epa.gov/lead/pubs/leadpdfe.pdf

This bird is slightly larger but still the same price as the others.
(*Moisture will rust the wings and sunlight will fade the colors over time)
