This quilt was machine made by Anita, experienced quilter, former president of The Des Moines Quilter's Guild, Iowa State Fair prize-winning quilter, 3 time participant in the juried American Quilters Society Exhibit and my mother!
The quilted Wall hanging is machine pieced and quilted 36"x45". The colorful spiky flower blocks, partially foundation pieced float on a back drop created with leafy green blocks. It received a blue ribbon at the Warren County Fair.
A colorful gold and red print was used for the backing with a fabric blue seambinding edge. Machine made.
A rod pocket is sewn to the back top edge for hanging on the wall.
