An unassuming egg-shaped gizmo that unfolds into an amazing desk lamp. Metal and plastic, period avocado and shiny chrome.

This adjustable lamp was made in Japan for Hamilton Industries, Chicago, Illinois in the mid-century era, late 1960s to mid 1970s.

Back to my shop:

Fully working OFF - Hi - LOW switch in the base, arm telescopes smoothly and the lamp head swivels easily. The "egg" swings to and fro in the base (see photos 3 and 4 for different angles on the base vs. the telescoping head.)

In the fully extended position the lamp stands about 16 inches tall. The metal base is 4 inches square on the table. The manufacturing information is inscribed on the underside of the base in raised lettering.

In gently used vintage condition. There are the usual scritches and light rubs to the metal and plastic. The cord is pliable and will be coiled for shipping. The entire lamp has been cleaned and it's ready to go.

Fabulously moderne design. Makes a pool of light just where you want it while improving your local visual landscape.

Super anywhere for task lighting!

What's not to love? :)
