Beautifully made dress circa 1930's, This dress is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! I could not find one issue with it. Even the lace, that looks so delicate - I couldn't fine one little flaw.

The way this dress is constructed it will actually fit a fairly wide range of sizes. The body of the dress is cut on the roomier side, and the attached sash is what creates the flattering shape at the waist. Clearly, it can be tied to fit any number of waist sizes!

The dress is made of a beautiful black crepe, with the upper portion having details of gorgeous lace. The center front comes to a deep "V" that is trimmed with the crepe. Inside the V is an insert of solid black fabric with an overlay of the lace. Outside the V is a "capelet" of freely moving lace. The lace capelet is split in the back (see photo)

Length (depending on how tall you are) would hit at about mid-calf to above ankle, but please refer to measurements below for more details.

Brooch shown is no longer available - sorry!

Measurements taken with garment laying flat and doubled where appropriate. For reference, my mannequin measures 35-26-35.

Shoulder to shoulder 17" (measured from end to end - please note on mannequin that it sits a little low on her shoulders and still looks great) - bust 39" - waist 37" (meant to be adjusted with tie belt) - hip 40" - length measured from neckline to hem in back 51".

Please read my policies for more information.
