vintage dairy crate from the 1970s. Super strong square in silver steel wire with aluminum bumpers on the corners and a rubbery plastic base in forest green. Marked FINCHETT BROS INC, and dated 8 - 70 (August 1970). The model, according to one corner, is a Cumberland Wire-Lite. Carry handles incorporated right into the design.

On a side or on its end it makes a marvelous table, bookcase, or shelf. Sturdy enough to hold books, firewood, tools.
