This is a very rare and hard to come by Purity Maid Bread thermometer from the late 40's or early 50's.It has retained very good color and seems to be accurate comparing it to my home thermometer. It has two areas of discoloration on the glass face that looks like black paint over spray, but is not its on the inside of the glass. That is the only thing that I can find not making it in mint condition giving its age. It was made by T.W. O'Connell &Co. in Chicago, Ill. This would be a great gift or addition to your collection of rarities. It measures 12 in. in diameter and is a little over a inch thick. Thanks for looking!

P.S. This item will be insured and double boxed for safe shipment!
