This 1957 vintage mechanical bank by Astro launches coins up the side of this rocket and into the the capsule at the top!

This mechanical bank is Model 1957-A. The trigger to launch the coin works well. You cock it by pulling it down, place the coin in the slot and push the red button on the side to launch it.

Has no key or key cover on the base. Coins used to land in the capsule at the top and settle down to the base, but the cover is gone.

Silver tone over metal, about 11-1/4" high. Some finish loss, see one fin in picture, others are tiny here and there. A couple fins have slight bends, like something heavy was put on top of it once, easily fixable.

For robotics fans, space fans, astronaut fans, bank collectors and more. This is a great and fun atomic era piece, a fabulous display item.
