As you know, here at the junkyard, we try to list unusual things and following in that tradition here's an old thing, that's made from cast iron, and it's a stand that holds a brass numerical scale and a Bausch and Lomb magnifying glass. I have no idea what it was/is and I don't know anyone that does either. Looks to me like it might have been used to look at and measure something that was small. I've found, especially in last few years, that magnifying glasses are very helpful when trying to see something small.

Besides using this to look at small stuff, I think you could use it as a paper weight, because it is kinda heavy. Would make a neat conversation piece too.

This item measures about 8" tall x 6" wide x 7" deep.

By-the-way, if you know what this was used for please convo that information.
