Here is a bead from my new series I am calling "Artifact". This line of jewelry and beads is very important to me and I am very proud of it. The artifact name came from the concept of hoping that my pieces ultimately live forever. To think that something I have created could last for decades past my natural life and be enjoyed by generations is just a really amazing feeling to have. Needless to say, I have worked extremely hard to improve the scrollwork design aspect of my glasswork and I think it has paid off..I hope you think so too!

This particular piece is part of a collection of beads i have been working on for the past few months. For some crazy reason, I feel like it's important for me to be making beads that are too large to wear. I think its interesting to be making something that starts on the concept of one thing but evolves into something different. This bead is not reasonable to wear. It is heavy, large, and elaborate. It weighs over 4 ounces. This particular bead takes hours to create. It is part of the evolution of my scrollwork skill. It would make an excellent addition to your collection of bead and glass treasures.

This bead is made of "Evil Purple" glass, which to me isn't evil at all. The bead features some beautiful striations of purple and pink, then covered in intricate copper green scrollwork.

The bead is 41 mm at the widest point of the cone, 9 mm at the bottom of the cone, 20 mm at the topper, 94 mm total length.

All of my beads are made by me, completely by hand. I use Moretti, Vetrofond, Lauscha, ASK, CIM, Double Helix, and Reichenbach glass. All beads are kiln annealed to ensure strength.

Any questions or concerns, please contact me! I enjoy what I do and I hope that you like my work! Enjoy!
