This one's a rare find: handmade, handcut, handstitched heavy leather belt from the 1960s. Made in a Greenwich Village shop (Scarlatti Ceramics) that also sold bohemian, hippie leatherware and other goods. Wide band of chestnut leather with a heavy brasstone stud buckle. Hand punched holes for stitches (which are sewn in brown heavy thread) and buckle holes.

Fits on the hip, looks amazing with leggings or jeans.

No size given, but best fits a men's medium to women's medium/large:

Very good condition. In just a few places the leather has weakened but is not cracked or coming apart — it's been around some 6 decades. Clean, but would merit from a good saddle soaping.

vintage handmade 1960s leather belt. Unisex M/L ultra wide cinch belt. Hippie boho / the VILLAGE COFFEEHOUSE belt
