Made with Exotic Hardwoods, Bolivian rosewood - African Lati, also known as white wenge, and African mahogany, 3 very beautiful, dense & durable exotic hardwoods. No stock photos here...the pick shown is the actual pick you will receive. This pick design allows the guitarist to use up to three tips, and grip this ergonomic '"tanto-tip" guitar pick with exceptional control, great for all types of stringed instruments. This custom handcrafted guitar pick was meticulously crafted with the aforementioned hardwoods, it features laminated strips of Bolivian rosewood & African lati in between some African mahogany outside edges, for a simple yet sleek & custom look. Concave rough sanded thumb grooves on each side provide a superior grip that enables the guitarist to really explore new highs in guitar playing. This pick measures approx. 1-3/16” or 30 mm long X 7/8" or 22 mm wide, it is about 2.9 mm thick at the thickest part of the pick, but feels & plays thinner due to the thumb grooves on each side, the pick tapers down at each tip for maximum playability, this pick was designed with the guitarist in mind for total comfort, control, & durability, it is treated with a special oil blend, for lasting protection I let the pick soak in the oil to ensure that the pick is deeply penetrated, I then apply a natural bees wax paste & hand rub the pick for a smooth & silky finish, & if you perspire or moisten your finger tips, it will actually improve your grip. It may take a while to get used to playing with a wooden pick, but every guitar player that I know, simply can't live without their hardwood guitar picks. So why not take your playing to new highs with the unmatched performance & true tones that my handmade Artisan wood picks employ! They also make excellent gifts! Thanks for looking!

BOLIVIAN ROSEWOOD - Machaerium Sclieroxylon
The tree is native to Bolivia, & Brazil
Also known as Morado, Pau Ferro, Santos Rosewood, & Moradillo, to name a few. A beautiful wood that is not a true rosewood, but is gorgeous in its own right. Color can be highly varied, ranging from reddish/orange to a dark violet/brown, usually with darker black streaks. Bolivian Rosewood has small pores and a fine, even texture that has a naturally high luster. (Though depending on the particular species, the wood can have a coarser, more fibrous texture.) Grain is typically straight, though sometimes slightly irregular or interlocked. Heartwood is reported to be very resistant to decay fungi, and is heavy, hard & durable.

LATI - WHITE WENGE - Amphimas Pterocarpioides
The Tree is Native to, Africa & grows in various countries there, such as, Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Togo, & Zaire.
This coarse wood is fairly common in much of African where it has a wide variety of uses. It is also known as "white wenge" because although the color is nothing like wenge (thus the "white") the grain can at times be strikingly similar to wenge. Texture is rather coarse, straight grain, hard and heavy. A truly beautiful white ( Blonde) exotic hardwood.

AFRICAN MAHOGANY - Khaya Ivorensis
The tree is Native to Africa, & grows mainly in West tropical Africa - Angola, Cameroon, Gabon, Ghana, Liberia, & Nigeria.
African Mahogany heartwood ranges from light to deep reddish-brown in color, and is absolutely gorgeous, the grain is straight to interlocked. It's texture is medium to coarse, the wood finishes well and has a lustrous quality. African Mahogany in the Khaya genus is considered to be a valid substitute for Honduran Mahogany (Swietenia Macrophylla), otherwise known as “Genuine Mahogany” which has become very pricey due to current availability.
