This set of three wood handles has been well used and, while chippy in appearance, they are actually incredibly smooth in the hand.

In gorgeous forest tones of brown and green, this set would make a fabulous little display to complement any rustic, farmhouse, primitive, vintage or industrial decor.

These pieces have come from my great, great uncle's tool chest and he worked at South Australia's Islington Railway Workshops in the early 1900s ... his initials are imprinted on the bit's square head, GEC (Gilbert Edmund Gliddon 1886-1922).

Found along with this very sturdy bit which fits into each handle, they allow the user to have an interchangeable screwdriver that one can either increase the leverage by using one handle over another or, depending on the size of the handle, would also allow the user to tighten or loosen screws in various confined spaces.
