White Corning Glassblower Bowl from 1951. Sometimes called Hornblower. This is one of the rare Corning pieces with a date stamp.

Military style, restaurant ware serving or soup bowl. These sturdy bowls were used in military mess halls during World War II and are some of Corning's earliest pieces. Made from a heavy glass and generous in size, these bowls are beautiful as well as functional!

A great accessory with so many uses. Heavy enough for baking, beautiful enough for serving or holding fruit.

Bottom of the bowl has the Glassblower logo as well as:

Made in the USA

Nice clean lines, no cracks. Glossy all over. Some slight scratcing inside from use. Some very light discoloration from cooking - both hard to see in photographs. Does not take away from the overalll charm of this bowl!
