Hand carved wooden serving spoon for salsa and the like of salvaged Cherry wood. This one is 8 inches long with a 1 5/8 inch wide bowl just perfect for serving salsa or sour cream. The handle is straight til it meets the bowl where it bends down. The wood was part of a small scrap. It is Black Cherry and not the kind that grows in orchards. Finished with beeswax and mineral oil. Shipping is free on this spoon til the end of August on orders to the U.S. and Canada. The rest of you get reduced shipping.

This utensil is "pre-washed" so to speak. The grain has been raised with water during the finishing process to remove any loose fiber ends so the spoon will remain smooth after you use it.

Care is easy, just wash in hot soapy water, towel dry, and apply some mineral oil or walnut oil every couple of weeks or you can buy some of our spoon oil finish which is Beeswax and mineral oil. A 4 oz. jar lasts for a long time and it will help to keep your spoon looking and feeling good for many years.
