The Taxco silver maestro Pedro Castillo worked first for William Spratling, then for Hector Aguilar, and then started his own workshop in 1940. This bracelet is stamped with his conjoined CP mark, Taxco, Hecho en Mexico and Sterling, and there may be an eagle mark partially showing under the edge of the box clasp, but I'm not sure. If it's there, it would means that this bracelet was made sometime between 1948 and 1980. This piece is in very good condition, especially for its age, with only a few tiny scratches on the front. I wanted to leave its patina intact, so I have not polished it to remove these, and they don't show when it's on your wrist.

This lovely piece has an inside measurement of 7 inches when clasped, and the four links are each not quite an inch at their widest points. It weighs 33 grams, and its beautiful design is unique and stunning. This is a great piece in the history of Taxco silver, which you can wear now and enjoy for years to come.
