What a fun mid-century design book from Better Homes and Gardens! Copyright Meredith Corporation 1956. This book is filled with illustrations of rooms chock full of great 50's design, including Eames, Bertoia, and George Nelson. How I love those clean-lined sofas and mod prints. Beautiful wood paneling and ceilings, mod fireplaces, sleek lighting, and great modern chairs. There are also some fun traditionally styled 50's rooms, pink tiled bathrooms, yellow kitchens, etc. Not just for the fun pictures, this is a useful design guide for creating your mid-century influenced home.

Condition: This is a 5-ring binder, with a hard cover. The book is in very good condition for its 50+ years of age. Binder tabs are tanned a bit from age and have some wear. The cover is in good condition with light edgewear and soiling. 430 pages. Note: Last page of index is missing from the book, but all other pages are present.
A word about shipping: U.S. shipping rate included in this listing is via media mail, slow but economical. If you need this book in a hurry, I can ship via Priority mail at an additional cost. Please convo me for details.
