Marked with a star and H & H for Hamilton & Hamilton of Rhode Island, this beautiful locket appears to be gold-plated or -filled. It has a lovely floral design on one side and what I believe is an "R", in script, on the other. All crystals (rhinestones? diamond chips?) and both pearls (faux?) are intact (shown).

Probably from the 1920s or so, when H & H was in business. Next to the maker's mark, there appears to be an "F" marked into the piece as well, as shown -- perhaps the piece's craftsman's mark?

Notice the slight curved spot on the round where one's nail goes to open the locket. Also, inside the locket is a removable ring-like piece that used to hold a photo in place.

Diameter: ~ 1.25"

Condition: Overall excellent antique condition. Some unevenness to the gold. The ring-like piece is a bit out-of-round, making it a bit tricky. I have not tried to "true it up."
