Inside is the Torte of Unfair Competition. It looks yummy!

This is a mug kiln fired with handmade decals. The mug is about 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the rim, not including the handle. It holds about 16 oz.

I made the decals from vintage images using iron oxide transfers. Because the images are fired into the glaze at 2050 degrees F, they are permanently in the glaze. The images are from antique sources, and the words are my favorite phrases from this post on Regretsy.com:

Thank you to Helen Killer!
While you can put this item in the dishwasher, it might fade over time if it is dishwasher washed many times. So, to keep your pottery bright, hand wash it most of the time. This is microwave safe, but may get hot in the microwave.

Thank you to Karen at http://www.graphicsfairy.blogspot.com for the vintage graphics, too!
