Here is a beautiful pair of boudoir lamps. They are Art Deco in style and are diamond cut, pressed glass. These are great old lamps in an unusual style. They really are stunning!

The glass shades and bases of these lamps are in perfect condition. No chips, no cracks, nothing! However...the bottom edges of the glass shades have been ground down to fit properly over the socket. They are not ground down smooth, but the luckily the rough surfaces are invisible when the lamps are put together. **I just don't want the future owner of these beauties to think the glass was chipped. The condition of the bottom edges of the glass shades where made that way on purpose.

One of the lamps has a brass 'napkin ring' type base to support the electric workings (see photo #4). This is the way I received them. If I was keeping them I would probably remove the 'napkin ring' thingie, or try to find two that match. I am including a tubular lightbulb with each lamp. The lamps are 11 1/2 inches tall and the bases are 4 1/2 inches square.

The celluloid part of the lamps, (where the light sockets are located), both have small cracks. I think the former owners may not have been very careful when they set the shades onto the bases. But the cracks do not effect the integrity of the lamps, and they are not very noticeable.

If you have any other questions about these babies, please contact me. Thanks for checking them out.

Peace, Kathy
